Welcome to my teaching portfolio. I currently work as an art teacher at JE Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School. Cosgriff is a private K-8 school in Salt Lake City. Prior to working at Cosgriff, I spent 2 1/2 years at Diamond Ridge High School, in Canyons School District. Diamond Ridge is a small alternative high school in Sandy, Utah that specializes in helping struggling students get on their feet in pursuit of graduation. I have also spent 4 1/2 years teaching art at Hunter High School, a large 5A public high school in West Valley City, Utah, and 3 years teaching art at Stillwater Academy, a small private school adjoined to a Residential Treatment Center teens in South Jordan, Utah. I believe in a constructivist and collaborative classroom. My classroom is a workshop where students are encouraged to be creative, reflective, and engaged.
