My final year at Hunter High School, I had the privilege of teaching and mentoring the students in the AP Studio Art - Drawing course. AP is an intense program involving many hours of student effort and dedication. Students worked throughout the school year and independently over the summer to create a comprehensive portfolio emphasizing breadth (multiple mediums and subjects) and depth (their ability to create a study and explore one subject repetitively). This AP course required thorough planning and facilitation on my end so my students could produce and compile the necessary portfolio components in the time allotted. The images featured on this page are the highlights from one student's passing portfolio. This student earned college credit for her great work.
