Course:  Photography 3/4 (SLCC Concurrent)

Objectives:

1. Incorporate elements and principles of design, such as repetition, shape, line, vantage, rule of thirds, unity, and cropping to create interesting compositions.

2. Compare and Contrast Abstract photography and Representational photography. Develop an appreciation for both.

3. Practice correct exposure and light awareness.

4. Execute correct darkroom or digital workflow and process.

5. Learn about historical and contemporary photography as it relates to the subject.

6. Develop an appreciation for industrial material and the unique aesthetics it provides.
